Project Manager / Consultant – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Aurecon’s Program Performance team in Adelaide is seeking proactive early‑career Project Management professionals to support nation‑shaping infrastructure projects. You will work on client‑side assignments across defence, government, social infrastructure, resources, energy and renewables, building strong partnerships and delivering tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects from planning through to completion.
• Assist with project governance, reporting, scheduling, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
• Prepare high‑quality client deliverables such as reports, presentations, meeting minutes and documentation.
• Undertake analysis and problem‑solving to inform project outcomes and client decisions.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to workshops, meetings and project communications.
• Manage assigned tasks and workstreams to meet time, cost and quality requirements.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in Project Administration, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager roles.
• Experience in engineering, construction, consulting, defence or government environments is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to work across complex stakeholder environments and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
