Project Manager – Commercial Flooring Projects

About the role

Next Gen Flooring is seeking a Project Manager to lead major commercial flooring projects across South Australia. You will own multiple projects from handover to completion, working closely with clients, builders, suppliers and installation teams in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several commercial flooring projects concurrently.
• Coordinate installers, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets, procurement and material deliveries.
• Handle defects, inspections and project close‑out activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports and administer project records.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and client outcomes.

Required profile

• Highly organised professional who thrives in a fast‑paced commercial construction setting.
• Proven project management experience within commercial construction.
• Flooring or floor‑covering experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Confidence managing defects and project close‑out processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, team‑first attitude with a focus on exceptional customer service.
