Project Manager, Application Services

About the role

Mercy Health is looking for a Project Manager within its IT Applications team, reporting to the Head of Applications. You will lead the delivery of a program of IT application and integration work across Mercy Health, managing multiple concurrent projects with a hands-on approach. The role sits within the Mercy Health Application Roadmap and broader strategic, enterprise and cross-functional IT initiatives aligned to the Digital Strategy 2023 to 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct project teams of internal staff, contractors and vendors
• Manage program budgets and vendor engagements
• Work closely with the IT Leadership team, business stakeholders and external vendors to deliver outcomes on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
• Embed consistent project and program management practice across the function

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in IT project and program management in a large, complex enterprise environment, across the full project lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience delivering a program of work and managing multiple concurrent projects
• Experience leading project teams, including internal staff, contractors and vendors
• Experience in healthcare, aged care or a similarly regulated environment is desirable
• Must hold a degree in Information Systems, Business, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification (MSP desirable); a current Victorian driver's licence and a current Police Record Check

• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, including presenting to executive and non-technical audiences
