Project Manager – Access Control Solutions

About the role

dormakaba is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead installation, coordination and delivery of access control projects in Hornsby. You will work closely with customers, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are on time, within budget and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from quoting through scheduling, installation and invoicing.
• Coordinate external contractors and internal stakeholders to support successful delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation, monitor progress, risks and performance, and produce weekly reports.
• Review tender documents, create schematic diagrams and Bills of Quantities for sales proposals.
• Support project handover, quality control and cost management while escalating health & safety concerns.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating contractors, customers and external stakeholders in a commercial environment.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and hold a current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of access control technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
• Experience creating schematic diagrams and Bills of Quantities.
• Familiarity with SAP and ServiceMax (or ability to learn quickly).
