Project Engineer – Security & Building Systems

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Project Engineer to join the Central Technology Team of a global leader in electronic security and building automation. You will own the full engineering lifecycle for security and building‑automation integration projects, acting as the primary technical contact for customers, project managers and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse plans, functional specifications and contracts to define project requirements.
• Prepare shop drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Program, configure and troubleshoot security and building‑automation systems.
• Provide onsite commissioning support and ensure successful hand‑over.
• Participate in custom integrations, system upgrades and network configuration.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in the electronic security industry.
• Strong programming and troubleshooting abilities on security and/or BAS platforms.
• Proficiency reading plans, preparing documentation and managing multiple workstreams.
• Valid driver’s licence and security licence.
• Experience with data‑centre environments, BIM360 or Revizto is a plus.
