Project Coordinator - Steel/Production Environment

About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for executing and delivering assigned projects and tasks while working closely with internal teams and key stakeholders. The role involves coordinating work on the shop floor, keeping projects moving, and ensuring quality outcomes for both the team and the client.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate, coordinate and assist with the safe and on‑time delivery of projects.
• Liaise with workshop teams, suppliers and stakeholders to keep work on track.
• Maintain strong customer service and clear client communication.
• Manage forecasts, timelines, expectations and outcomes effectively.
• Drive the procurement programme with key suppliers.
• Attend project tender reviews and handovers to provide input as required.
• Enter all project data into the relevant system and support day‑to‑day workshop production activities.

Required profile

• Experience in a structural steel production, manufacturing or workshop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret steel fabrication drawings and symbols.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Confidence communicating with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach.
