About the role
Join Aurecon's Darwin Program Performance Advisory team as a Project Assistant/Coordinator. You will support a portfolio of Defence facilities and infrastructure projects, working closely with experienced Project Managers and Directors.
Key responsibilities
- Assist project teams with planning, coordination and day‑to‑day delivery activities.
- Track progress, prepare reports and maintain up‑to‑date project documentation.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders and ensure information flows smoothly.
- Support multiple concurrent projects across all lifecycle phases, including initiation, design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, scheduling and risk management.
- Learn and apply fundamental project management principles throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- Proactive, well‑organised and detail‑oriented.
- Self‑driven with a strong willingness to learn on the job.
- Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks across different projects.
- Clear written communication skills with good grammar.
- Enjoys working in a supportive, team‑focused environment.
