Project Administrator

About the role

Dale Alcock Projects, a specialist construction division of ABN Group, delivers medium-density and multi-residential developments across Perth. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Project Administrator provides administrative and operational support throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, acting as the link between clients, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. The position is full-time, based at the Leederville office with occasional site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing and managing contracts, purchase orders and project documentation
• Support procurement by coordinating supplier and subcontractor agreements, tracking deliveries and verifying invoices
• Maintain accurate project records in line with contractual and regulatory requirements
• Monitor project schedules, key milestones, deadlines and variations
• Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients
• Help prepare reports, progress claims and financial documentation for budgeting and forecasting
• In residential projects support client liaison and workflow coordination; in commercial projects support contract management and compliance

Required profile

• Experience in a Project Administrator, Administrator or similar role in construction (residential or commercial)
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting and risk management principles
• Attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, self-motivated and highly organised
• People skills, relationship building and customer service focus
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Project management systems; Jobpac experience is advantageous
