Project Administrator

About the role

Join Rexel, a global leader in sustainable electrical solutions, as a Project Administrator within the State Projects team. You will provide accurate and timely project pricing, support successful outcomes, and enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Read, evaluate and create professional customer quote requests on schedule.
• Interact with customers and suppliers to resolve specification or drawing inconsistencies.
• Build relationships with manufacturers and sales representatives to secure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with management to set cost and sell amounts, optimizing margins.
• Increase project conversion rates in line with department goals.
• Verify specifications and quantities against orders after project acquisition.
• Utilise CRM for 100% management of opportunity activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in project quoting, estimating or related fields (desirable).
• Background in electrical wholesaling, trades, or construction industry.
• Strong oral and written communication, multitasking and organisational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and set goals.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
