Program Coordinator – Vocational Education and Training

About the role

Cecil Andrews College is seeking a proactive and innovative individual to lead its Vocational Education and Training (VET) programme. This six‑month fixed‑term, full‑time position starts in Term 3 2026 and will work closely with the Principal and senior administration to enhance VET, career pathways, workplace learning and post‑school transition outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and plan the college’s VET, Careers, Workplace Learning and post‑school transition programmes.
• Review, analyse and enrich VET and endorsed programmes to align with student and industry needs.
• Oversee the integrity and reporting of VET, curriculum and student databases.
• Provide high‑level VET advice to students, parents and teachers and promote programmes within the community.
• Coach, mentor and manage teaching staff delivering competency units, including performance management and professional development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including further education and training providers.
• Research emerging trends and ensure compliance with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in VET programme coordination or a related educational leadership role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a school leadership team.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning.
