About the role
Thomas Foods International is seeking an experienced Production Planner to manage the Lamb, Mutton & Goat processing line at its Stawell plant. The role ensures production schedules align with quality standards, customer specifications, and target yields.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule and optimise the processing programme for lamb, mutton and goat to meet grade and yield targets.
- Coordinate with supervisors and managers to ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP requirements and address any non‑compliance issues.
- Provide daily and weekly production reports and load advice to the cold store, including forecasts for frozen and chilled cartons.
Required profile
- Safety‑first mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Significant experience as a Production Planner, preferably in a GMP or HACCP environment.
- Ability to analyse data, generate reports and support problem‑solving investigations.
Required skills
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) knowledge.
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) experience.
- Production planning and scheduling.
- Data reporting and analysis.
