Production Operator

About the role

Join BOC Limited Australia as a Gas Plant Production Operator. You will be responsible for filling, handling and testing BOC and privately owned gas cylinders while continuously improving productivity, service level and asset utilisation in a safe, quality‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Read, understand and perform all production duties according to written procedures, internal standards and relevant legislation.
• Work safely in line with company OHS policies and Western Australia Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area and ensure product released meets BOC specifications.
• Guarantee medical product quality in accordance with TGA/Medsafe requirements.
• Minimise product losses while operating and monitoring equipment for continuous production.
• Inspect and maintain plant equipment to sustain uninterrupted operations.
• Provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers.
• Report and discuss any workplace or position‑related issues.

Required profile

• Forklift operator competency.
• Formal certification in relevant production activities.
• At least two years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience in gas production, including preparation, control and analysis for continuous or batch operations.
• Willingness to work day and afternoon shifts on a rotational or relief basis.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend operating procedures.
• Understanding of manual handling and the Dangerous Goods Act.
