Production Operator – Fixed Term (12‑hr Shifts)

About the role

We are seeking Production Operators for our Cobram dairy plant on a fixed‑term contract running until January 2027. The role involves working 12‑hour rotating day and night shifts as part of a 500‑person on‑site team, supporting a highly automated production line.

Key responsibilities

• Operate automated production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre‑start checks and swabs to maintain a food‑grade environment.
• Enter production data into IT systems and complete basic assembly tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep the work area clean.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Availability for a 4‑on/4‑off roster with 12‑hour day (6 am‑6 pm) and night (6 pm‑6 am) shifts.
• Comfort using Microsoft Word, email and other data‑entry programs.
• Ability to lift items up to 15 kg occasionally.
• Forklift licence or food‑grade experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
