Production Operator – Dairy Manufacturing

About the role

Join Saputo Dairy Australia’s 24‑hour production line as a Production Operator. You will work 12‑hour shifts on a 4‑on, 4‑off rotating roster, supporting the manufacture of some of Australia’s most loved cheese products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated dairy processing equipment.
• Perform pre‑start checks and swab procedures to maintain a food‑grade environment.
• Enter production data accurately into IT systems.
• Carry out basic assembly, troubleshooting and minor maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Available for both day and night shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Physically capable of lifting items up to 20 kg.
• Australian working rights at the time of application.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic IT data‑entry tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
