Production Operative - Wetherill Park

About the role

Redox, an ASX-listed raw material and ingredients distributor, is growing its production team at its Wetherill Park facility, which supplies raw chemicals used to make consumer goods such as tyre shine, disinfectants, nail polish remover and paints and coatings. This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday 6am to 2:06pm, reporting to the Production Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Pick raw materials to make batches of custom liquid chemicals (Class 3 flammables).
• Mix chemical blends to varying concentrations as per specifications.
• Pump chemicals into bulk-tanker trucks and packages ranging from 5 litres to 1,000 litres.
• Operate a forklift to pick materials and load and unload trucks and containers.
• Maintain a clean and tidy production area and keep the site clear of hazards.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with chemicals or flammable liquids in an industrial environment.
• Current Australian forklift licence (LF); applicants with a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence will be reviewed favourably.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and excellent attention to detail as paperwork is involved.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual heavy lifting (25kg).
• Commitment to safe operations and procedures.
• Two contactable references.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and will need to pass a National Police History check.
