About the role
A large and successful food manufacturer is looking for a Production Line Assistant based in Braeside, Victoria. The role involves packing, labelling and quality checks on the production line, and requires safety shoes and availability to work 5 to 7 days a week.
Key responsibilities
- Pack products off a conveyor belt through the production line
- Label products and boxes
- Unpack and de-box products and ingredients
- Stack boxes on pallets (up to 25 kg)
- Operate machines, with training provided
- Carry out quality assurance of food products
- Clean the warehouse and grounds according to instructions
- Work repetitively and assist supervisors with tasks during the shift
- Follow OH&S and food-hygiene standards
Required profile
- Proven experience as a food production worker
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and proven reliability and attendance record
- Flexibility to work shifts, which can be static
