Production Engineer - WA

About the role

Air Liquide Australia is looking for a Production Engineer for Western Australia. The role is accountable for production and product delivery to the customer within a given scope (site, region or country) and manages teams covering different activities in secondary production, such as operations technicians, maintenance and product compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cluster, country and site secondary production operations.
• Ensure proper identification and maintenance of safety-critical elements.
• Establish processes for receiving and addressing incident, hazard and risk information.
• Collect and analyse operational data to improve plant performance.
• Manage production and maintenance staff, including training and meetings.
• Handle staffing arrangements and ensure adherence to quality procedures.
• Be responsible for safety in operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Entry-level position open to fresh graduates or candidates with 0 to 1 year of experience in related fields.
• Strong fundamentals in ASU process and gas-related IM filling center operations.

Required skills

• Analytical skills with an appreciation of process control or DCS.
