Production Assistant

About the role

The Production Assistant will support the Senior Production Coordinator in managing product shipments and sample deliveries, ensuring they arrive accurately and on time. This role is ideal for a strong team player who enjoys the operational side of fashion and can thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support seasonal collection development from concept through bulk production.
• Create and hand over barcodes to suppliers.
• Review and approve packaging requirements.
• Ensure timely receipt and approval of bulk fabrics.
• Maintain and manage fabric, trim, and samples libraries for the Product Team.
• Receive and check Sales Kits.
• Assist with purchase orders, monitor manufacturing process and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Liaise with factories and suppliers to resolve production issues.
• Assist with fittings, samples management and QC processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in fashion production or product development (activewear experience advantageous).
• Basic understanding of production timelines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Excellent organization and time‑management abilities.
• Full Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and spreadsheet management accuracy.
• Experience with PLM systems (advantageous, not required).
