Production Assistant

About the role

The Production Assistant position is a full‑time, on‑site role at LUSH’s manufacturing facility in Sydney. You will support the hand‑making of fresh cosmetics, ensuring each product meets the brand’s high standards for quality, ethics and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and follow production recipes for cosmetics.
• Assist with shaping, pouring, pressing and assembling products.
• Check product appearance, consistency and labelling to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure work areas comply with hygiene, safety and cleanliness requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines.
• Handle product packaging and support shift handovers.

Required profile

• Reliability and strong attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina – ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Willingness to learn about LUSH’s products, ethics and sustainability practices.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.

Required skills

• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in a production environment.
