Product Support Advisor – Hands‑on Mining Equipment Role

About the role

The Product Support Advisor will be Sandvik’s on‑site representative, delivering day‑to‑day technical support to maximise equipment performance, reliability and integrity for a mining customer in Central West, NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Manage service support activities to meet business goals and daily customer requirements.
• Coordinate parts and consumables, maintain critical spares and ensure operational readiness.
• Deliver technical support, undertake minor repairs and prepare detailed reports.
• Coach and mentor on‑site maintenance personnel, building strong relationships across maintenance, supervision, planning and technical teams.
• Contribute to strategic plans, continuous‑improvement initiatives and business growth.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with a relevant trade qualification.
• Hands‑on experience maintaining underground drilling or load‑and‑haul equipment.
• Class C driver’s licence.
• Customer‑focused mindset, excellent communication and the ability to work autonomously.
• Right to live and work in Australia.
