Product Specialist - Joint Reconstruction, Perth

About the role

A permanent full-time Product Specialist is sought for the Joint Reconstruction team in Perth, Western Australia. Working with orthopaedic surgeons and theatre teams, you will drive adoption of Hip and Knee replacement solutions, including VELYS, a robotic-assisted technology, through clinical partnerships, in-theatre support and education. The role is open to candidates based in New Zealand with citizenship who are willing to relocate to Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and market share by building clinical partnerships and executing strategic account plans across a designated territory
• Provide expert clinical and in-theatre support to current customers
• Deliver education and training programs supporting adoption of Hip and Knee solutions
• Build relationships with surgeons, theatre teams and key stakeholders to grow partnerships
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and maintain customer satisfaction

Required profile

• Degree qualified with proven medical device sales and territory management skills, ideally in orthopaedics
• Understanding of the orthopaedic market and a track record of building professional relationships
• Planning skills, attention to detail and strong team orientation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders
• Strategic thinking and constructive challenge of customers
• Rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid driver's licence; frequent travel to hospitals in the Perth metro area
