Product & Portfolio Manager

About the role

Logicalis Australia is looking for a commercially astute Product & Portfolio Manager to join its team in Sydney. This is a newly created, first-dedicated role reporting to the Head of Capability, focused on building and driving the lifecycle, governance, roadmap and commercial performance of the company's products and services so they stay market relevant and aligned to business strategy. The role works closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, Marketing & Alliances, Finance and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain product and portfolio management disciplines, governance processes and roadmap management capabilities.
• Manage the lifecycle of products and services from introduction through enhancement, rationalisation and retirement.
• Develop product roadmaps that align customer demand, market opportunities, vendor strategy and business objectives.
• Facilitate product governance, including Product & Portfolio Council reviews, performance reporting and decision tracking.
• Develop business cases and evaluate investment opportunities for new products, services and enhancements.
• Support pricing, margin and profitability reviews.
• Define product packaging, value propositions and go-to-market strategies with Sales and Marketing & Alliances.
• Build relationships across Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, Finance and Marketing & Alliances.
• Consolidate customer, market, vendor and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities and optimisation initiatives.
• Support Sales and Pre-Sales with product enablement, positioning, launch readiness and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• 5+ years' experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Service Management, Technology Consulting or a related discipline.
• Experience across multiple technology domains and complex stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing business cases and supporting investment decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen on pricing, profitability, margin management and business performance.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience in technology services, managed services or systems integration is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Product management and/or ITIL certification is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
