Product Development Engineer – Local Manufacturing

About the role

InKorr is bringing industrial manufacturing back to Australia and needs a dynamic Product Development Engineer to lead local product initiatives. You will turn concepts into market‑ready products, ensuring they meet safety, quality and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product development from concept through design standards and safety compliance.
• Manage the product pipeline, prioritising new ideas based on market size, complexity and competition.
• Review and validate sales quotes for technical feasibility, accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical communication and guidance on complex client projects.
• Conduct or coordinate R&D activities, including CFD analysis, to deliver innovative solutions.
• Maintain detailed Gantt charts with milestones, responsibilities and deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Operations teams.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical design capability with proven CAD proficiency.
• Fluency in pressure vessel and heat‑transfer calculations.
• Hands‑on experience with heat exchangers (highly valued).
• Collaborative mindset with regular reporting and active participation in team meetings.
• Commitment to maintaining and improving existing product lines.
