Product Designer - Amenity Bags

About the role

Buzz is a global design company that creates signature moments for travel, partnering with airlines, hotels, cruise and rail brands on luxury amenity, skincare, textiles, sleepwear, tabletop, tech, audio and children's products. Due to growth, it is looking for another Product Designer to join its team. You will work on amenity bags and provide design input and creative contribution to luxury-oriented products for the travel industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop luxury-oriented amenity bag designs for airline and hotel clients
• Translate the design DNA of high-end luxury brands into premium travel products
• Work within specified price and time parameters
• Collaborate with managers, product developers and suppliers

Required profile

• Significant design industry experience with relevant tertiary qualifications
• Proven ability to interpret briefs and manage design projects
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and meet competing deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, strategic thinking and organisational skills

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Suite, with excellent Photoshop skills for quick product visualisation
• Concept visualisation and sketching
• Manufacturing techniques such as cut and sew, print, packaging and amenity products (highly advantageous)
• Knowledge of global design and fashion trends, product technical specifications, global supply chains and manufacturing costs (highly advantageous)
