Procurement Senior Manager

About the role

x15ventures, a venture-scaler backed by CommBank, is looking for a Procurement Senior Manager to lead procurement governance, commercial strategy and supplier management across x15 and its ventures. You will act as the procurement subject matter expert and partner with ventures, risk, security, legal and technology SMEs to drive strategic outcomes, lead complex negotiations and ensure strong governance and compliance across third-party engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high-value and high-risk commercial negotiations and build strategic supplier relationships
• Drive commercial optimisation and cost-saving initiatives, and partner with Legal on complex contracts
• Act as SME for procurement, supplier and third-party policies, and ensure compliance with Group procurement and payment policies
• Monitor and implement policy and process changes, and manage escalations, exemptions and exceptions
• Oversee end-to-end procurement processes across ventures, including supplier selection, onboarding and contract management
• Improve procurement processes and ways of working
• Support delivery and execution of initiatives, prioritisation, activity management and alignment to strategy and OKRs

Required profile

• Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing, commercial negotiation or supplier management
• Experience in complex or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of procurement governance and risk management
• Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and strong supplier relationship management
• Ability to balance commercial outcomes with risk and compliance, and to manage competing priorities in a fast pace
