Procurement Lead – Manufacturing & Projects

About the role

This position leads end‑to‑end procurement and logistics for a specialised manufacturing and project‑driven organisation. You will work closely with senior management, production, finance and operations to ensure materials, equipment and services are delivered on time, to quality standards and at commercial value.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from sourcing and supplier evaluation to purchasing and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance against quality and commercial requirements.
• Oversee logistics across land, sea and air, including documentation and inventory forecasting.
• Maintain accurate procurement data in the ERP system and provide cost‑saving recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement and logistics within a complex manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proven ability to manage supplier and stakeholder relationships while delivering commercial outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen, risk‑management and continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience highly regarded.
• Supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
• Knowledge of LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
