Procurement Consultant – Brisbane

About the role

Procurement Co is seeking a Procurement Consultant to join its Brisbane team. You will work alongside experienced consultants delivering end‑to‑end procurement and commercial projects for a diverse client base across government, utilities, infrastructure, mining, energy, education and large corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of full‑cycle procurement and contract management projects.
• Assist in developing procurement strategies, market approach documentation and recommendations.
• Contribute to tender processes, including documentation, evaluation and negotiation.
• Conduct market research, spend analysis and business needs analysis.
• Support contract management activities and performance reviews.
• Prepare reports, presentations and client deliverables.
• Facilitate or support workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Build effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Manage tasks and deliverables according to project timelines.

Required profile

• 2+ years of procurement, sourcing or contract management experience.
• Exposure to end‑to‑end procurement processes and sourcing activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent attention to detail.
• Analytical ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in government, utilities, infrastructure, mining, energy, education or large corporate organisations is highly regarded.
