Process Engineer – Water (Mid to Senior Levels)

About the role

Aurecon is seeking Process Engineers for water utilities across Australia. The role supports the design, modelling and delivery of wastewater and drinking water treatment projects at mid to senior levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop process designs and models for wastewater and drinking water treatment plants.
• Utilise BioWin or comparable process‑modelling platforms.
• Deliver projects through concept, detailed design, construction support and commissioning phases.
• For senior/lead positions: provide technical leadership, ensure best‑practice outcomes across multiple projects and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in water or wastewater process engineering (mid to senior level).
• Ability to contribute to full‑life‑cycle project delivery.
• For senior roles, demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
