Process Control Engineer – Darwin LNG

About the role

INPEX is seeking a Process Control Engineer to join its Operations team at the Darwin LNG plant. The role focuses on real‑time optimisation of plant performance, supporting control strategies and troubleshooting operational issues in a world‑scale LNG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day process control performance, troubleshooting and optimisation across the facility.
• Develop and enhance control strategies to improve plant stability, efficiency and throughput.
• Monitor control system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to alarm management and maintain control system integrity.
• Support system changes, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex operational challenges.
• Participate in technical reviews, audits and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in LNG, oil and gas, power generation, mining or other complex industrial operations.
• Ability to work hands‑on in a highly connected team environment.
