Principal/Engagement Manager/Associate – Private Capital

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Principal/Engagement Manager/Associate to join its Private Capital team in Melbourne. You will develop insights into commercial assumptions, analyse target companies, and interact with investors and management teams to shape strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop insights into commercial assumptions underpinning client investment cases.
• Analyse target companies’ markets, performance, business plans and value‑creation opportunities.
• Interact with investors and management teams to offer advice, shape and drive strategy.
• Develop and foster talent within the Private Capital team.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in CDD and value creation, in consulting, banking or private capital.
• Self‑starter, independent thinker who works well within a team.
• Clear communicator with straightforward, respectful interaction.
• Commitment to balanced lives and prioritisation.

Required skills

• Business‑fluent English.
