Principal Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Principal FP&A will report to the Group Manager Finance – Corporate and Reporting and play a pivotal role within the FP&A Corporate team. You will maintain and evolve sophisticated financial models that drive critical business decisions, delivering data‑driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate scenarios, clearly articulating risk‑reward propositions.
• Deliver ad‑hoc and sensitivity analyses across macro‑economic and operational factors to support annual plans, forecasting and long‑term strategic planning.
• Continuously improve models in line with best practices and develop understanding of key value drivers across the value chain.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to extract expertise and incorporate industry trends into analysis.
• Prepare presentations and Board materials that communicate complex analysis with clarity and impact, and support ASX market announcements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualified with experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance or engineering.
• Mining industry experience and exposure to ASX‑listed or international listed companies is preferred.
• Proven discounted cash flow financial modelling and valuation experience.
• Ability to work with subject‑matter experts and translate technical information into clear financial models.
