Principal Consultant – SAP Basis Lead (RISE Transformation)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead the SAP Basis workstream within a RISE with SAP transformation program. You will oversee migration of SAP landscapes to S/4HANA Private/Public Cloud, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with Cloud‑first and Clean Core principles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP Basis activities across the RISE lifecycle (Discover, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run).
• Define and execute Basis strategy in line with RISE architecture and SAP Activate methodology.
• Plan, execute, and govern risk mitigation for system conversions, lift‑and‑shift, tenant copy, and landscape simplification.
• Manage onsite and offshore teams, ensuring SLA‑driven delivery.
• Coordinate cut‑over, mock runs, and go‑live readiness with SAP Cloud ALM and RISE operations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in SAP Basis conversion, migration, and post‑go‑live support.
• Experience managing cross‑functional and hyperscale environments.
• Strong governance and risk‑management capabilities.
