Principal Consultant - ICT Advisory

About the role

Business Aspect is expanding its advisory presence in Canberra with a new Principal Consultant. This market-facing role works across Data#3's key and high-potential federal government accounts, combining about 70% chargeable delivery with account development, opportunity shaping and leadership of complex advisory engagements. It covers architecture, cyber security, data and AI, digital transformation, cloud modernisation, sourcing and technology governance.

Key responsibilities

• Shape complex architecture, cyber, data and digital transformation engagements for federal government clients in Canberra
• Help clients turn strategic priorities into practical roadmaps and investment decisions
• Lead complex advisory engagements and build trusted relationships that open major opportunities

Required profile

• Established credibility and networks across the Canberra ICT market
• Demonstrated success originating, shaping and winning advisory work, growing accounts and turning trusted relationships into larger opportunities
• Experience leading complex advisory engagements and multidisciplinary teams, with strong facilitation, stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Commercial discipline across pipeline, revenue, margin and utilisation, and a collaborative approach with account and delivery teams
• A current NV1 or NV2 security clearance, or a clearly transferable active clearance

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of federal government procurement, budgeting, governance and decision-making
• Deep expertise in two or more of enterprise or solution architecture, cyber security, data and AI, digital transformation, cloud modernisation, technology investment, strategy or governance
