About the role

The Executive Director of Catholic Education Western Australia invites applications for the Principalship at Holy Rosary School, Doubleview, commencing 1 January 2027 (or negotiable). The school is a vibrant Catholic primary school serving children from three‑year‑old Pre‑Kindergarten to Year Six.

Key responsibilities

• Provide faith‑filled leadership that strengthens the school’s Catholic identity through worship, liturgy, faith formation and parish partnerships.
• Lead a collaborative vision for educational excellence, using evidence‑based teaching, data‑driven improvement and professional learning for staff.
• Foster an inclusive, safe and welcoming environment that supports the wellbeing, behaviour and learning of all students, including those with additional needs.
• Build authentic partnerships with students, families, staff, the parish and the wider community to promote engagement and shared ownership of the school’s vision.
• Steward human, financial and physical resources responsibly, ensuring long‑term sustainability and high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic education.
• Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent.
• Current Teacher Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA) and a valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
• Relevant Master’s degree (or working towards completion) is highly desirable.
