Principal Analytics & Data Delivery Lead

About the role

This senior position leads Brighter Super’s analytics capability, combining strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery to turn complex business questions into actionable insights that improve member outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the analytics function, driving insight, reporting, self‑service analytics and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business leaders to shape solutions and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Own and prioritise the analytics backlog, ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing analytics team.
• Advance the Databricks Lakehouse environment and reusable data products.
• Deliver end‑to‑end analytics solutions from discovery to adoption.
• Champion modern data practices such as governance, automation, CI/CD and AI‑assisted delivery.
• Build stakeholder relationships and grow data literacy across the fund.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading analytics teams and delivering enterprise‑wide data solutions.
• Strong consulting background with stakeholder engagement and solution design.
• Proven people leadership focused on coaching, development and performance.
• Commercial mindset with ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in SQL.
• Strong practical experience with Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake and governed data products.
• Advanced Power BI skills including semantic modelling, DAX, security and performance optimisation.
