Primary Years Teaching and Learning Coordinator

About the role

Xavier College is looking for a Primary Years Teaching and Learning Coordinator to join its Two Wells (R-12) campus. The role is classified as POR2, starts in January 2027 and runs for a fixed period of 2 years. It combines a full-time, permanent teaching component with leadership across Years 3-6, supporting high-quality teaching, learning and wellbeing programs. Key responsibilities

• Lead and support high-quality teaching and learning practices across Years 3-6
• Coordinate and support literacy, numeracy, curriculum and assessment initiatives
• Support assessment and reporting processes such as PAT, NAPLAN and other college assessment initiatives
• Analyse student achievement data to inform teaching, learning and intervention strategies
• Mentor teachers through collaboration, coaching and professional learning
• Build relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Support student wellbeing, inclusive education and targeted intervention programs
• Manage multiple priorities and operational requirements in a dynamic school environment
