Primary Teacher – Year 2/3/4 (Preschool to Year 10)

About the role

Lock Area School, a Preschool‑Year 10 campus on the Eyre Peninsula, is looking for a passionate Primary Teacher to deliver Year 2, 3 and 4 classes. The role supports an inclusive learning environment with small class sizes, encouraging creativity and high achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum and high‑impact teaching strategies.
• Adapt learning activities to reflect the local environment and integrate a range of ICT tools.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and support diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve practice and contribute to a strong school community.
• Communicate regularly with families to build positive relationships and support student wellbeing.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with knowledge of the Australian Curriculum for primary years.
• Demonstrated ability to use ICT in classroom teaching.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and fostering a sense of belonging.
