About the role

Chinchilla Christian College, an independent co-educational Christian school from Prep to Year 12 in Chinchilla, Queensland, is looking for a full-time Primary Teacher to start in Term 1, January 2027. The college is part of the Christian Community Ministries network and offers a supportive, collaborative team with weekly devotions and prayer times, regular social events and professional development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach the primary curriculum from a Biblical perspective
• Lead student learning confidently in a productive classroom environment
• Contribute to co-curricular activities
• Support the College's mission, aims and values

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a Graduate Diploma if the first degree is in another field
• Qualified teacher registered with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT), or able to obtain QCT registration
• Current Christian church leader as a referee
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and ability to teach it from a Biblical perspective
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Current Australian work authorisation
