Pricing Manager - Defence Programs

About the role

Northrop Grumman Australia is looking for a Pricing Manager to support complex, high-value Defence programs. The role leads pricing strategy, cost estimating and proposal governance across Defence bids, contract changes and task orders. Defence experience is welcome but not essential, and strong commercial pricing professionals will be supported to transition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pricing and cost estimates across Defence proposals and contract variations
• Develop competitive pricing aligned to CASG / Defence cost principles
• Interpret RFPs and ensure pricing compliance with Defence requirements
• Present cost models to senior leadership, customers and audit bodies
• Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities
• Support post-award pricing, negotiations and claims
• Lead and mentor a skilled pricing team

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting or similar
• CA / CPA (or equivalent)
• Proven Defence pricing or cost estimating experience
• Strong understanding of Defence acquisition and governance frameworks
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 clearance
• Clearance type AU-Secret (NV1); travel of about 25% of the time
