Presentation Designer – Contract (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Presentation Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team on a 2‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. Based in Sydney CBD, you will work closely with senior teams across Sydney, Melbourne and Hong Kong to create high‑impact pitch decks, client proposals and board‑level materials.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build client‑facing pitch books, proposals, information memoranda, teasers and board papers in PowerPoint to a professional standard.
• Transform rough drafts, data and mark‑ups into clean, on‑brand deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Create charts, graphs, tables and infographics that clearly communicate financial and strategic content.
• Maintain brand guidelines, templates and the firm’s template library.
• Update the marketing database for finalized and ongoing transactions.
• Design cover pages, dividers and bespoke graphics; edit images for web and documents.
• Collaborate with executives and analysts through multiple revision cycles and manage version control.
• Proofread for formatting, alignment and consistency before client delivery.
• Support related collateral in Word, Excel‑linked charts, PDFs and event materials, including printing and binding.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in presentation design or document production, preferably within professional services such as advisory, consulting, banking, legal or accounting.
• Strong eye for layout, typography and data visualisation.
• Ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion.
• Comfortable working under last‑minute deadlines and managing multiple stakeholder inputs.

• Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
• AI‑assisted design tools.
• Basic WordPress content updates.
