Practice Manager for Growing Veterinary Network

About the role

The Practice Manager will provide operational and administrative leadership across three companion animal clinics on the Gold Coast – Ormeau Vet, Sanctuary Cove Vet and Hope Island Central Vet. Working closely with Clinical Leads and national business managers, you will coordinate day‑to‑day operations, unify systems and help build a strong, collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operations of all three clinics, including rostering, payroll and staff administration.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and induction of new team members.
• Manage clinic administration systems, reporting, data entry and performance monitoring.
• Oversee reception operations, client experience and complaint resolution.
• Coordinate inventory, suppliers, equipment and site administration.
• Implement local marketing, community engagement and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Highly organised with ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.
• Strong relationship‑building and team‑support skills.
• Excellent communication, judgement and problem‑solving abilities.
• Confidence using systems, reporting tools and technology.
• Positive, practical and collaborative approach.

Required skills

• Experience in veterinary clinic coordination, practice management or related operations.
• Proficiency with payroll, timesheet and staff administration processes.
• Ability to analyse business metrics and implement improvements.
