PR & Marketing SAM/AD (Health, Pharma, Finance)

About the role

An agency working exclusively with a finance organisation that invests in global science and medical research is hiring a PR and marketing Senior Account Manager / Account Director in Melbourne. The client is a finance organisation, and the role suits someone who wants to move into a role with an innovative company. Full or part-time is available, and the position is based in Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver marketing and communications for key external and internal stakeholders.
• Strengthen the profile, reputation and engagement of the client's associated brands.
• Develop and deliver communications across digital, media and stakeholder channels, turning complex scientific, investment and commercial information into clear stories.
• Work directly with C-suite level parties so communications stay consistent and aligned.
• Support the Head of Comms in developing and managing corporate PR and media campaigns.
• Develop PR strategies and new client and product offerings, and liaise directly with C-suite clients.
• Create engaging corporate and corporate consumer PR campaigns.
• Identify and take part in external thought leadership opportunities and update media lists.

Required profile

• Lives in Melbourne, Australia and has full working rights.
• At least six years of public relations experience in corporate communications (agency experience preferred).
• Recent client experience in health, pharma or finance is required.
• Excellent understanding of the Australian media landscape.
• Natural storyteller with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Conceptual thinking and ability to develop presentation decks with a clear narrative.
• Up to date with digital trends across web, mobile, audio, email and social media.
• Experience with tools such as Canva, website CMS platforms, email marketing platforms and event management systems is ideal.
