PR & Digital Assistant

About the role

CHARETTE is a specialist PR and digital communications agency serving the global design industry. We are looking for a PR & Digital Assistant to support our architecture, interior design and home‑brand clients. This entry‑level position offers direct mentorship from the Founder and Head of PR, providing real exposure to agency work from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Draft press releases, pitches and feature ideas for a varied client portfolio.
• Build and maintain media contact lists across consumer lifestyle, interiors, architecture and trade titles.
• Proactively pitch stories to journalists and editors covering design.
• Monitor coverage, compile regular client reports, and track performance metrics.
• Manage content calendars, community engagement and short‑form visual assets for multiple client channels.
• Support day‑to‑day client communication, campaign planning, press days, events and product launches.
• Contribute ideas and help maintain agency systems and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a PR, digital or integrated communications agency.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks.
• Strong writing skills for press, pitching and social copy.
• Experience planning and managing social media content across key platforms.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to meet competing deadlines.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude with no ego.
