Power Station Operator – Maintainer (FIFO)

About the role

Zenith Energy is seeking experienced Power Station Operator‑Maintainers to join its hybrid power operations in remote Australian sites. This full‑time, permanent FIFO position works on a 2‑week on / 2‑week off roster, supporting reliable power delivery for off‑grid mining projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on reciprocating engines, control systems and auxiliary plant.
• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot power generation equipment.
• Carry out fault‑finding, repairs and HV switching operations.
• Maintain accurate records, work orders and purchase requests in the ERP system.
• Respond to after‑hours call‑outs for breakdowns and urgent faults.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑trade experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance within power generation or heavy industry.
• Recognised trade qualification (electrical or mechanical) and WA electrical licence for electrical roles.
• Open‑class WA driver’s licence.
• Experience with HV switching and remote FIFO environments.
