Porter / Maître'D Host

About the role

Accor, in partnership with Qantas Lounges, is looking for enthusiastic Porter/Maître'D Hosts to deliver premium service to international travellers in the First Class Lounges. The role involves greeting guests, managing access, handling luggage and supporting food and beverage operations.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests at arrival and departure, verify boarding passes and lounge eligibility.
• Assist with heavy lifting of passenger luggage and ensure guests are appropriately dressed.
• Provide information on airport and lounge facilities, answer flight‑related queries.
• Maintain cleanliness of foyer, curbside and Premium Check‑in Suite, and monitor table allocation in lounge restaurants.
• Present menus, take drink orders, and support food & beverage service.
• Collaborate with other departments for VIP handling and follow management directives.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Impeccable grooming, professional appearance and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain Federal Police clearance and hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol card.
