Plumber – Industrial Site

About the role

Liontown Limited, a lithium producer with its Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in Western Australia, is looking for an experienced Plumber to join its Operations team. Reporting to the NPI Maintenance Supervisor, the plumber installs, maintains and repairs plumbing systems across the site, keeping water supply, drainage and heating systems running safely and in line with regulations. It is a hands-on trade role within a wider maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures and appliances
• Troubleshoot water supply, drainage and heating systems and carry out regular inspections
• Carry out preventive maintenance and keep accurate records of work, including project reports
• Ensure all work meets safety codes and regulations, and implement safety measures during installation and repair
• Work with maintenance, construction, engineering and leadership teams to plan and coordinate plumbing projects
• Maintain and operate Reverse Osmosis and wastewater treatment plants

Required profile

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Plumber, preferably in an industrial or mining setting
• Trade qualification or certification in plumbing, and relevant licences and certifications as required locally
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and equipment, and problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues
• Effective communication with maintenance teams and willingness to work in a multi-trade team

Required skills

• Reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of Reverse Osmosis and wastewater treatment plants
