Playground Estimator and Designer

About the role

Adventure+ is seeking a Playground Estimator and Designer to join its Project Design team. This office‑based role blends cost estimating, compliance documentation, and modular playground design, supporting the delivery of high‑quality play environments across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed costings for playground equipment and site works.
• Liaise with contractors to confirm pricing and gather site information.
• Draft and assemble quotation and tender documentation, maintaining accurate tracking systems.
• Interpret briefs, review site plans and photographs, and produce structured playground layouts within the modular system.
• Apply Australian Standards and industry best practices to ensure compliance and constructability.
• Collaborate with drafting support to finalise design documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in estimating, cost planning, pre‑construction or technical documentation within construction, civil or landscaping environments.
• Strong numerical ability, high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Logical, structured thinking with the ability to visualise demolition, excavation and installation sequences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
