Platform Support Business Analyst

About the role

SS&C GIDS, a provider of mission-critical, AI-powered technology and services for financial services and healthcare, is hiring a Platform Support Business Analyst in Brisbane or Newcastle on a hybrid basis. The role supports end users across core registry systems, gathers requirements and delivers projects, bridging business needs and technology solutions within the SS&C Administration Services Australia environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for platform-related issues, assist users with navigation, functionality and troubleshooting, and log, track and resolve defects in JIRA
• Work with Production Support and Managed Services teams, and with IT teams, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Support complex issues and inquiries, and conduct and coordinate user acceptance testing and release testing
• Elicit requirements from stakeholders, analyse business processes, and document requirements, configurations and support processes
• Lead implementation of changes and updates, propose and implement efficiency improvements, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards

Required profile

• 2+ years of business analysis or equivalent experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to verify business and system solutions and to work in dynamic, changing environments
• Desirable: operational experience in superannuation, investment or insurance services, experience in large financial service organisations, RG146 (Superannuation) compliance, and understanding of SQL
