Platform Engineer

About the role

Lumi is seeking a Platform Engineer to bridge software development and infrastructure operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of our engineering platforms. This hands‑on role focuses on building infrastructure, refining CI/CD pipelines, and establishing robust monitoring for fast‑paced deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and comprehensive monitoring systems.
• Monitor and tune database performance for MongoDB and PostgreSQL, including cluster management and query optimisation.
• Support the event‑driven architecture and contribute to early‑stage MLOps and AI infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes (or similar orchestration tools).
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL performance optimisation.
• Eagerness to learn MLOps principles and build production‑level AI infrastructure.
