Plant Operator – Quarry

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Operator to join our team at Booyal Quarry near Bundaberg. This permanent, full‑time position involves operating both mobile and fixed plant equipment safely on each shift, ensuring continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dump haul trucks, front‑end loaders and other quarry mobile plant safely.
• Run the crushing plant in accordance with safety procedures.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep plant and work area tidy.
• Participate in problem‑solving, safety routines, pre‑starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting.

Required profile

• Experience operating mobile plant (front‑end loader experience is a plus, training provided).
• HR truck licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Self‑motivated with safety and quality focus.
• Team player able to work with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
